Bridal Party

Tyler House

The Best of Men. A genuine bard, versifier, and author. Tyler and I have been brothers since time immemorial. Pure goodwill to the core. Valuing little or no material possessions, only friendships and experiences, Tyler breezes by with a lassez-faire demeanor and always has a melody that follows.

Stephen Garth

This man is a genius.

Literally. A mathematician and distinguished outdoorsman, Steve is currently completing his premier trek on the Appalachian Trail over 2,178 miles, from Maine to Georgia. His future holds a PhD in Mathematics, solving paradoxes, theories, and mutable and immutable timelines. He retains a capability and capacity of mental nimbleness that can be described as nothing short of sheer brilliance. Little does he know, but he was my inspiration to become an Eagle Scout. After seeing a news report when he received his Award at age 14, shortly after, I joined Troop 161. Always inspiring, he is an impeccable friend.

Ben Ealey

Ben and I met in high school whilst at a LAN party. Two years later, while carrying balloons and a cookie cake into Liz’s apartment for a surprise birthday party, I met him once more. His girlfriend, Hope, lived next door. Over the next three years, our friendship grew into a brotherly bond. He is a superiorly amiable chap from beyond America’s borders. He has a drollery that cannot be topped, and liveliness that is supreme.

Dale Stubblefield

Though our friendship has been short, Dale is my Brother. He and his wife live exactly one block down the street, and their presence is always welcome. A fellow Mason, Dale was instrumental in my progression to Master Mason, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. A Linux Guru by trade, it is always comforting to know that someone knows what I am referring to when discussing digital data processing. He has a certain charisma while engaged in the entertainment and is a joy to call a friend.

Robyn Umans

Robyn Umans has been one of my best friends since 7th grade when I came to Meigs middle school as a newbie. She immediately befriended me and we spent all of our time together, from Band to Biology. Through high school, different heartbreaks, classes, and triumphs we have stayed thick as thieves. Robyn is a gem in the rough when it comes to life long friends. She is fun, smart, and enthusiastic, and unlike so many others that come and go; her friendship never falters.

Robyn knows both Tom and I from school and has been a wonderful part of our lives for the entirety of our relationship as friends and soul mates. She is currently busy getting her Doctorate in Memphis so we don’t get to see her as often as we would like but thank goodness we DO get to catch up every time she comes home for holidays and fun. We love spending time with her every chance we get and can’t wait to see her as part of our wedding!

Kimberly Bartholomew

Kim Bartholomew was my freshman room mate at UT. Over the years we have become very close and she is a wonderful steadfast friend that made my time in school better than I could have imagined. I have been blessed to get to spend the last 5 years with her and through everything I could always count on Kim. She is a brilliant witty woman who always has a new perspective on things and is one of the few people who knows me through and through.

Kim is also getting married this year and is starting a new life in North Carolina as a French teacher. I will miss being able to see her on a whim or just sit around by the pool and talk about dreams, love, and decorating. We have so much in common it will be hard not having someone who understands me as she does close by. Regardless of the distance I know we will keep in touch. I am excited about us both embarking on a new adventure together and to start that is exactly why I need her by my side at my wedding. She is a one of a kind kindred spirit and I can’t wait to share my day with her.

Marianna Jewell

My Maid of Honor is, of course my amazing older sister, Marianna Jewell. I am so lucky to have Marianna in my life. She is a smart courageous woman who any girl could look up to. Now that she has moved back to Nashville I get to spend more time with her, and I absolutely love having her around. Marianna is so strong, honest, and empowering. She epitomizes the best older sister a girl could have and she has encouraged me to also be the best woman I can be.

Marianna is always there to offer sound advice, a funny story, and loads of fun. She can do anything she sets her mind to and loves to prove it! She is the best game competitor I have come across and she will win every time. We are still working on Tom and my strategies to overcome her in cards. Marianna is an incredible singer and travel buddy as well. We have spent many a car trip listening to her voice on her Nothing But Treble CD and wishing she were there. I made sure she was the one standing by me as I take Tom to be my husband. What more could I ask for?

Elizabeth Hope Robinson

Elizabeth Hope Robinson is one of the most incredible people you could ever meet. This wonderful woman has brought so much light to my life these past two years I am eternally indebted to her. My mom and sister are always commenting on how beautiful she is and they are right. She has a heart of gold! I could not imagine sharing my special day without her.

Hope has been a best friend of both Tom and I since we met her as my neighbor in Knoxville. We instantly became bosom friends when Tom helped move her into her new place and we got to know each other better. We  share so many wonderful memories, like, painting in our underwear in the middle of the summer, hiking in the smokies and fall creek falls, and just spending evenings on the couch doing homework and watching Glee. She is like family to us and we would not have the relationship we share today without her insights, encouragement, and friendship.
