A Beautiful Wedding Shower

Shelby Baxter (Tom’s sister) and Kathy Beasley (Tom’s grandmother) hosted Tom and I a beautiful shower this past Sunday, August 22nd. They really outdid themselves with personalized detailing and wonderful decor and food. I loved these super cute napkins and the cupcakes were all the rage. It was a great time to celebrate with Tom’s family and friends. It was very special to prepare for the upcoming wedding and our new beginnings with many of those closest to us. We are so thankful for all the love and well wishes we received at the event. Everyone was very generous and as always full of laughter. I think the best moment was when Tom cut one of the ribbons on a gift just to find out that breaking a ribbon at a wedding shower means you will have a child… The look on his face was priceless! Needless to say we won’t be having children in the near future, but Tom and I are fairly superstitious and the notion scared us silly. We gathered many an idea from Shelby’s planning expertise about things we need for our own wedding, thank goodness someone in the family knows how to throw a party. It was indeed a very special event for the both us us. Thank you to everyone who shared in the day!
